Gary S. Cunneen, an attorney at Cunneen Booth LLP, has been appointed to the North County Bar Association’s Board of Directors.  

Cunneen has been a member of the California Bar Association for over 20 years, representing a wide variety of clients ranging from traditional estate planning for individuals to risk mitigation advisory services for Fortune 500 companies.  He is a member of the Estate Planning & Family Office team and represents clients in Estate & Tax Planning, Trust & Estate Administration, and Trust & Estate Litigation.  In addition, Cunneen provides Family Office Advisory Services, including complex insurance claims representation. 

Before his position at Cunneen Booth LLP, Cunneen earned his J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law, a B.A. from the University of California, Riverside, and also studied at the University of Sussex in England. He has held executive roles in risk management and financial advisory services, including serving as Vice President at HUB International (2018-2020), Willis Towers Watson (2011-2018), and Marsh (2003-2011). Earlier in his career, he worked as a Financial Advisor at UBS (2001-2003) and Morgan Stanley (1997-2001), gaining valuable experience in financial planning and asset management. 

Since 1956, the North County Bar Association has provided its members with programs and services promoting the development of the legal profession. The NCBA aims to improve the education of its members, raise the standards of professional conduct, encourage friendly professional relationships, and obtain greater recognition for its members in County and State Judicial activities. The addition of Gary S. Cunneen to the board reinforces the NCBA’s commitment to excellence, leadership, and service in the North County legal community.
